What is the industry standard of staging environment for large teams

I am associated with a large SaaS platform. The whole system consists of a dozen micro-services. The staging environment was ok when the team was small. But for a few months, we are fighting with each other while utilizing the stating environment. Can anyone throw light on industry/best practices for staging environment for large teams?
