Do we have freewill? Has someone determined that (no pun intended)?

I love listening to Gervais. He strikes me as a down to earth normal guy with a good head on his shoulders. Of course it's hard to know in a world where celebrities work hard to create a positive image. But he probably is genuine because it's much more acceptable (and profitable) to be an actor/comedian/writer with religious beliefs.
