Ask HN: Innovate UK Smart Grants

Has anyone applied successfully or otherwise for an Innovate UK Smart Grant? What was your experience with it? Do you have any tips for a non-business guy on where to find general purpose market data to support the economic impact statement in the application? Something vague would be better than nothing if it's at least published somewhere.
