While i do sympathise with illegal immigrants, i think there should be more focus and care for legal immigrants. How about allowing legal skilled workers enter the us without being at the mercy of employers, and without the need to invest 1 mil $, win a noble prize or marry - as all other sane developed countries do?
This way illegal immigrants would have an incentive to invest in their own or their children’s education, knowing that one day they too can achieve the american dream.
