That is nonsense. Individuals choose where they want to work, not countries. And free markets eventually outperform non-free and corrupt ones.

Who would you like to do business with?

country A that has the best tech, has a stable political climate, does not push too much, has a good price, or country B, who has inferior tech, a "maximum pressure" president and asks too much.

Turkey choose Russia for its S400 and the Philippines choose Huawei for its 5G for obvious reasons. If people in country B do not understand why this happens, they will fail again doing business.

The identity of country A and country B in all of the attributes you mention has fluctuated over the years, and through different contexts.

correct, and that is why I think stable is an important feature.

Stable how? I can see mainland China being stable through its authoritarian government for the moment but the Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Uighur situations at the moment don't exactly scream "long term stability" to me.

Personally id like to do business with countries who dont do business with countries that have concentration camps or the like. Is there any like that anymore?

Can't have cake and eat it too. Isn't it better to suffer a little for the moral good? Basically, what countries like the Phillippines are saying is that money matters much more than good, and they don't care what the future where China leads the world holds. And I completely understand it, so don't get me wrong. I'm also not saying the U.S's hands are clean either, hell no lol.
