I dont believe in russian newspaper, this is just fiction. They make money on this kind of articles.

(update: I see the pravda version has lots of extra stuff added like the HAARP bit. Would be interesting to track this story through the nutter sites to see if its just chinese whispers or if people are just manufacturing detail to make it sound more exciting)
