So pre-industrial period and a drop in human population correlates with a reduction in global temperature.

Population has increased a lot and would be interesting to map that upon global temperature.

However you look at things - humans DO affect the climate of this planet pure and simple.

There's your solution to climate change. /s
I wonder if Republicans would be more willing to believe in climate change if it's solved through endless wars instead of taxes.

Perpetual war to keep the planet cool.

it is irresponsible to promote this rhetoric
It was always obvious that this is one of the solutions to the climate change.
How is this rhetoric?
Actually this is due to the slightly "clickbaity" tile... If you had read the article you would easily find it is about:

1.) one of the many scientific studies showing the huge effects humans have on climate 2.) reforestation is an effective solution to reduce the human effects on climate

At this point it should be considered unethical to have more than 1 child per household. I don't care if that's politically incorrect, it's basic math. The entire species needs to drop to below-replacement reproduction. No eugenics, genocide or war required, just stop acting like horndogs or get snipped for Pete's sake.
