[–] [dead] ackfoo 6y ago ↗ One hypothesis is that iPhones are "too premium".My hypothesis is that you can't do anything you really want to do with them, like:- run a VOIP app (tried endlessly; notifications don't work)- run a background process (gets killed almost immediately)- download a file- run a proper browser- block an ad (millions of ad blocker add-ons; none work)- save to external storage- find MAC addresses of other local devices- opt out of 2FA more than two weeks after turning it on- get low-latency audio out- etc. (The list is endless)The walled garden has become a prison.
