Microsoft Edge browser doesn't block ads even with adblocker

I tried the Microsoft edge browser beta channel on Mac today. apparently, even after installing ublock origin. if i search same on bing on chrome browser no ads! basically edge is not respecting adblocker on bing. very creepy!
