Ask HN: Did GitHub traffic metrics go dead for about a week?

I regularly use Github's traffic feature to see how many people are visiting my open source project, and where they are coming from so that I can engage with them on forums that discuss the project.

For months I was getting a fairly consistent number of visitors each week, but for nearly a week the numbers went to zero, then picked up again today.

I'm assuming this was a bug in the way that the metrics were collected or reported; I'm curious if anybody else has experienced this.
