You know nothing about the gunman yet. So while it is nice to jump to conclusions that don't seem unreasonable, I don't think you have anywhere near enough info to actually do that yet.
Whether the gunman is directly tied to Beck or that wing of political rhetoric or not, I think that the point is valid. The polarization and disruptive environment created by the so-called "pundits" will lead to much more instability, whether this man specifically was inspired by that or not. It should be seen as a warning to stop our divisiveness and petty demonization of our peers for money and praise.
