Ask HN: Framework to test data quality/consistency

I am looking for something similar to a testing framework to help me test the quality of datasets across different data sources. I am interested in testing among others that: the size doesn't increase/decrease unreasonably, the schemas remain consistent and that static tables remain unchanged. Is there such a framework or tool available? How do you solve this problem in your organisation?
