"Entrepreneurs and executives should make sure their employees have good mental health for economic reasons, if not for ethical ones. Employees in a healthy workspace have better performance, engagement, retention, well-being, and happiness levels."
Straight point. It can only get better if organization will abide by this and follow them. Thanks to the author for sharing this vital and key information.
I would love to see truly flexible hours implemented into more companies. Come in when you want and leave when you want. As long as you get your work done. Finding ways to effectively measure productivity would be a challenge. But if you just trusted your employees to make sure they got their work done. I think they would and it would alleviate a lot of dissatisfaction that leads to poor mental health
I think clearly defined goals are one way to effectively measure productivity. There are methods like OKRs which help when used right. So any company with a good goal setting process can afford to give employees not only flexible hours but also any other flexibility that makes them more autonomous in doing their work. Employee will be happier and more productive.
