I think Tim Ferris needs credit here. He shared years ago that drinking tea was good for your brain mostly due to the ritual of brewing it by cup. You stop multitasking in your head, focus on creation of the tea (brewing) which allows you to slow down and organize your thoughts. The caffeine boost afterwards energizes your brain and allows you to put focus where it is needed.
Something like, "Slow down to speed up."
I took it to heart years ago and often brew tea to drink when I feel locked up mentally.
