Ask HN: Where to start when migrating a JavaScript project to TS

I've inherited a JavaScript project that consists of a web server, using an old version of Angular for the front-end, and a simple service that also runs on Node.

I'd like to convert them all to TypeScript but the resources on the Google frontpage seem a bit imature.

Could any of you that have already done this point me to any good resources? Thanks
