hmm.. I'm not sure who this article is aimed at.

- This advice applies to everyone, not just women.

- Wage disparity isn't solved by choose majors.

- Wage disparity isn't even about making "more" money, it is about removing discrimination (explicitly or from the system in general).

Yes but women (on average) are making less money than men. And they are choosing majors which are less lucrative.

A large part of it is.

Yet we are constantly reminded by activists that women on average make less than men so there must be discrimination. We could eliminate all the discrimination in the world and the average woman would still make less than the average man given gender choice disparity when it comes to important things like careers and education. This article is taking a step back to remind us of that.

In fact, some type of engineering major held six of the top 20 spots for highest earning potential. Women’s Studies is ranked 695th and Gender Studies is ranked 772nd.

I don't think women pursue things like Women's Studies with fantasies of getting rich. I think they do it to figure out who the hell they are, which is essential to their ability to function at all.
