You are acting exactly opposite to that. If you want people to think about polarization and its triggers you should try to do that in a way that does not polarize all by itself but by engaging them in constructive discussion.
People know how polarization is an issue, it's not like the public here is uneducated about this.
The issue is that despite that, it still happens all the time. It happens when somehow people feel that something is personal.
This was a try at making the knowledge come from inside out, not outside in. Maybe feeling the emotions involved in polarization and realizing it was a silly joke is what is needed.
And if it doesn't work, it's not like I took more than a couple minutes of anyone's time.
