MSNBC cancels it's top rated prime time show after Comcast-NBC deal is approved (chrono.posterous.com)

I never much liked his brand of hyperbole. Maybe he'll tone it down now on his next gig. I doubt he's going to go hungry.

I don't see what's surprising about this. Olbermann's 30% below Greta Van Susteren yet he's reported to make $7 million a year. It's a divided country so it doesn't seem crazy that MSNBC's most popular show should be able to match Fox's least. If it's not I put the blame on the host.

At the same time O'Donnell makes a lot less and is pulling in almost as many viewers in a time slot when fewer people are watching tv.

To me it seems like a no-brainer.
