The site claims the following as fact. I’d like to see the research proving this but the click-through link to the “full appeal” where I hope they’re listed didn’t work for me (timed out).

This is so facetious. The Precautionary Principle is always going to appear a drastic measure - that is its purpose - to be used for large-scale changes like this that are difficult to reverse (another example being GMO).
