What are most interesting and useful papers to read about flu?

Flu is coming. And I hear so many things about it, about drugs that can or cannot heal it, about vaccines that help or do not help, about aspiration masks, ways to protect yourself and ways to make your sufferings less terrible, i.e. sprays, inhalations, compresses, use of vitamins...

And I have so many questions your radio expert or a friend will never discuss, like can a flu survive on the door bell? Can you get infected via eyes? How scientists predict next year's stams when they cook a vaccine? etc etc, so I thought maybe there are papers that can realy extend your views on the matter.
