What I talk about when I talk about Programming (blog.jabid.in)

I think I share this sentiment, even if I can't put my finger on what it is. It would be thoroughly depressing of course if work were (or I wanted it to be) everything. Perhaps academia is the answer, a pursuit of understanding for understanding's sake. I expect working academics would say it's no different though, the Product is just exchanged for the Research Grant.
