Ask HN: If Softbank Collapses, would a recession be brought on?

Or is tech too small potatoes for that still and that's a crazy thought?

Seeing this post https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=21353912 and others really makes me think. With Uber/WeWork really not working out as investments, are other SoftBank companies to follow? Could SoftBank going belly up be a good indicator for the start of an economic crash? Or is that hogwash?
