Ask HN: What are your views on open source tools from Facebook, Google, etc.?

I see people who have fundamental problems with using tools created by big corporations even though they are open source e.g. some people say they use Vue instead of React because Facebook created React, etc. Personally, as of now, I don't have any problems with these tools if they are open source and widely used. I try to resist closed-source tools as much as I can. Just curious, what is your take on this matter.
