Ask HN: Feedback on Idea? RC Package Delivery Bot

I think the tech is sufficiently affordable and reliable enough to make a sturdy remote control 4 wheel package delivery bot for those last mile deliveries.

Some kind of form factor like this: https://www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2018/1/11/16879432/savioke-relay-hotel-delivery-robot-wi-fi-dead-zones-mingle-ces-2018 (hotel delivery robot example; imagine scaling it up with e.g. electric bike drivetrain)

Before (and even if) self driving tech becomes a thing, just remote control via cameras+WiFi and GPS. I'm thinking it'd be fast enough to take advantage of bike lanes, but could always go slower/safer on sidewalks. Should be convenient for some remote workers at delivery centers.

Can have an app to unlock password of cargo hull upon getting downstairs to person's building (or outside house). Basically have UI mechanisms to not worry going inside buildings where possible.

What do you guys think? Viable concept? How would you improve, what would you change?
