Ask HN: Anecdote about how green-field turns to brown-field?
I spent the last 30 minutes hunting on Google for an anecdote that I _think_ was linked from HN. It followed a project for a decade from green-field to a brown-field mess, where developers came and went, each applying the “proper way” of the day of doing things. After ten year, the project was a mess which used different paradigms (ASP.Net Web Forms, MVC, Angular, docker) for different parts of the application.
Any chance anyone knows what I’m talking about?
