Tell HN: Slack to offer disabling of WSIWYG editor “within a couple weeks”

Just got a reply from their customer support that they're planning to offer the option to go back to basic formatting "within a couple weeks" for the desktop app. I can only assume that Slack's developers use something other than Slack to share code snippets because this particular issue annoys me almost 20x a day right now.
