Ask HN: Make money programming w/o full-time job

Whats the easiest way that I can make some income but without starting a 9-5 salaried job.

Really I'm soured w the way that responsibility ( and the politics of collective development ) expands in normal jobs.

Alternatively: What kind of codified services would you suggest making which don't already exist?
