Ask HN: Has anybody else been 'blacklisted' from Amazon?
For the past 2 years or so, I've been completely unable to use the Amazon store.
My accounts keep getting 'locked' for 'suspicious activity' after a day or so, despite nothing being awry at all. I have a clean history with Amazon.
I have called them up numerous times, only to unhelpfully (and falsely) be told that I'd receive an email shortly. Sometimes they'd just put the phone down and not hang up.
I feel like Amazon are intentionally blacklisting me. It's like they don't want my money. I'd try and avoid them, but they play such a huge role in online shopping that they're practically unavoidable.
Has anybody else experienced this? If so, how did you manage to get it fixed?
Sorry for cluttering HN, but this is the only community I know that might share some experiences/suggestions.
