Ask HN: Whatever Happened to EntropyKey?

1 points by duelingjello ↗ HN
They have/had a great architecture (transparently described) and a great product. It was:

thermal noise ->

hard-copy keyed encrypted channel over USB ->

ekeyd -> egd -> kernel

From there, the kernel always had lots of entropy for /dev/random, OpenSSL and OpenGPG.

Could they resurrect themselves with a groupbuy, with preorders or a Kickstarter? Are there any trustworthy alternatives (not HaveGED or prngd)?
