Senior Front End Engineer

Arcesium seeks an exceptional Senior Front End Engineer to join our Technology team and deliver next generation data-driven user experiences for products used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world.

Responsibilities include: · Architecting fully-featured data-heavy TypeScript/React based client-facing applications · Participating in the user experience design process and taking ownership of product usability · Contributing to internal JavaScript/TypeScript/React tooling and libraries leveraged by all engineering teams in the firm

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, a passion for user experience, and a drive to research the best tool for every job, including comfort building new tools where none fit the need. Opinions on best practices, the ability to clearly articulate reasons for choices, and precision in weighing alternatives are a must.

Requirements include: · Expert understanding of the fundamentals of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React · Experience creating and maintaining shared JavaScript, TypeScript, and React libraries · Intuitive understanding of UI component composition and UI state modeling
