Which Open Source Software/Foundation Do You Fund?

This year I want to donate money to open source software I use daily like VLC, keepass , signal etc. How do you go about determining which projects are big enough vs smaller under funded ones ?

Which ones do you support ? For ex. I read the linux foundation is very well funded
