Its true that online dating doesn't get the respect it deserves. Some points:

People are dating around and when they settle down they know what they're doing

More young people use Tinder than Facebook

Its only worth being on Tinder if you're 8/10 or above

Male cosmetics are growing in popularity

Will change emerging markets culture

So what are all the 7s and below doing these days?
If we're looking at the economy then we shouldn't just be looking at the top 10-20% of men who have the genetics to be successful on dating apps.

What happens to the other 80-90% of men? They can either take the left overs of the dating market once the genetic lottery winners are done with them OR they can not bother playing the whole dating game and instead pursue other hobbies.

The rise of the red pill/mgtow types is a reflection of the latter.

I believe that now we're only beginning to see the macro impact of these dating apps (i.e, oversupply in the market for Diamonds). There will be fewer people settling down in the future.

I want to say that society will then re-learn why marriage was important, why traditional values mattered, etc. But I don't think technology will let us go back. The future is probably going to be very strange.
