Ask HN: Why isn't it called the EFG stack?

Elastic, FluentD, and Grafana seems to be a perfect combo. FluentD is definitely displacing Logstash as the canonical log shipper, and Grafana's ability to produce dashboards from many data sources makes it more flexible than Kibana. Also, consecutive letters are most satisfying.
