I seriously can't imagine doing my grocery shopping online. The two things that make the idea unappealing to me are:
1) For fresh foods, I really want to see the exact item that I'm considering buying.
2) It seems wasteful. For foods with a shelf life, I prefer to buy a month's worth at a time. It's hard for me to believe that shipping that amount of bulk is less wasteful than just going to the local store. It's also embarrassing -- I once tried Amazon's grocery service out of curiosity, but the large boxes that were delivered really embarrassed me, and I never did it again.
