Ask HN: What do you want from local retail products search/discovery service

Been focusing my attention towards how online service can help offline shopping I've been trying to clearly understand what this area is missing or could use so it simply doesn't become just another "search comparison" industry. To build just the search engine is obviously not enough - other than results of the search you need to provide excellent "pre-shopping" experience. So I was curious if anyone have thoughts on the problem, limitations, or anything related for the online2offline aspect - any personal frustrations, wishes, maybe even recommendations, etc.
