Instagram Is Having an Outage

Instagram's login verification servers seem to be down.

I can reliably trigger the issue by logging in from a "new device", i.e. incognito mode with a different user agent. Once this happens, when I login to the account, or try using an active session from another device, I will reliably get redirected to `https://www.instagram.com/challenge/<some_random_id>` which promptly spits out a 500 Internal Server Error ("oops, an error occurred.")

It has been around 12 hours since the outage started and I'm beginning to wonder if Instagram is even monitoring these errors.
