I don't think it's fair to call the likes of Neera Tanden and Sady Doyle "the left," and I don't think it's fair to call the latest round of calculated pearl clutching "a controversy." These are people who are paid lots of money to get Americans to stop thinking about class. The fact that even meatheads like Rogan are excited about Sanders terrifies them.
Joe Rogan is an incredible interviewer. The best in a generation.

Thousands of people, ranging the spectrum from Bernie Sanders to Alan Jones to Tulsi Gabbard to Ben Shapiro to Andrew Yang have sat down in that booth and have had all the time in the world, even if it takes four hours, to explain how they think about the world. If they phrase things a little weird that's fine, Joe Rogan will make them slow down and spend a little bit more time on that topic.

The only bad part of that his presentation-- listen to this person talk about heavy shit for three hours-- doesn't translate well to news clips. It's only profitable for a very, very small audience. The sort of people who want to sit and stew about what a certain statement means. For three hours.

There's not very many of us.
