Ask HN: Simple Software to Track Invoices?

Anyone know of simple software to track customers and how much they owe, invoicing schedule etc? Don't actually need the sending-of-invoices part, just scheduling for billing and recording of whats been paid and not.

Ideally with APIs in so later if we want to invoice from our application we can.
