What really surprises me is that the company that creates that piece of useless bloatware has a research team that does cool stuff like this.
They have widely used enterprise software too. I have to agree though, the dichotomy is pretty funny.

They’re probably researching how to make antivirus marketable for cars so they can convince the unknowing that their $50 a month subscription is the only thing keeping their car from running off the road on its own.
