Ask HN: Would you use a specialized tool for managing a team glossary?
Hey all, I recently wrote a team glossary for my day job. I used confluence and found the experience quite underwhelming. The wiki produced an ugly result, it was labor intensive to bring a consistent structure to each term definition, and cross-linking each term would be an arduous undertaking. I really wanted a better tool.
I've always had a desire to launch a small SaaS business and thought I would pursue the idea of a webapp that helps you build a glossary for your team, and share definitions with each other. But would such a tool add enough value that they would use it instead of a generalized wiki? Would they (you) pay for it?
