Ask HN: Personal archive of rich SMS messages

Has anyone found a workflow or solution to properly exporting sms messages with images and videos into a usable external long term personal knowledge base. I searched for some export to html solutions but they seem to want the experience to then be inside their apps. I’m looking for a way to properly store and access my legacy SMS’s for the next 20+ years.

Curious if anyone has solved this or been wondering the same thing.
