Ask HN: Advice for turning a side project into a (tech) startup
I've been working on a side project for a while, and enough people are asking if/when they can use it too that I'm going to build this into an app. It's a money management tool for European markets.
I'm planning to self-fund and work on it full time. I haven't found a co-founder so I'm starting solo. I've got decent technical and business skills and I'm not concerned about the technical learning curve, but I think prioritization and attention management could be difficult. I'll need to think rationally not emotionally, and avoid being a perfectionist, for example.
What advice would you give me? Can you recommend any great books/resources?
Thanks!
