Hello everyone,

Here's my first project (http://www.twothings.me). I've been lurking in the dark corner for a while and decided to start working on something which I think will be interesting/fun for Facebook users.

TwoThings.me allows you to post 2 things you like (or dislike) about anything. It could be something you bought, your GF (if you have one), your car, a celebrity, anything!

The fields use autosuggest but you can submit your own.

The next goal is to show some analytics and/or trending over time.

Give it a try and let me know how it could be improved. Any comments (positive / negative) will be appreciated!

How did you come up with the idea?

Hi Niico, well the idea came when I read this blog post (http://www.gabrielweinberg.com/blog/2011/02/if-i-were-starti...)

I told myself that it would be a good idea to take the concept to another level. Even though I'm not a good coder (I'm more a tech guy), it was a concept easy enough for me to get started.

It took me about 3-4 days part time.

I worry that by taking it to the next level you've hurt the viral component. Three words grew because it tapped into something very personal to most internet users - what people think about themselves

Hurting the viral component..? I guess we'll have to let people decide about that, no?

I suspect people are equally interested in talking about what they like or dislike :)

What would you say the difference between a coder and a tech guy is? Previous to your comment I had thought of them as the same thing

I have a sysadmin background. I code for fun but it's not my strongest point.

Congrats on getting your idea up and running. That's always the first and most important step.

I'm not quite sure I get it though. Can you share an example of what I'm supposed to do with your website? It really needs some instructions and samples. Otherwise I feel like this is madlib that I'm filling out that really makes zero sense at the end.

I can work on making it more user friendly but I thought the main title was quite inviting. Anyone else feels like instructions are required?
