I already got my Chloroquine prescription and tablets a week ago, just in case, most pharmacies don't carry it anymore (an old drug), doctor part was easy at Seton ExpressCare, no appt. needed. With Medicare part D and Cigna health insurance I paid a total of 70 cents at the pharmacy, yes, you read that right, 70 cents total.

500 mg. Chloroquine must be taken with a meal, twice per day, for 10 days.

What the article here failed to mention is there is new research showing that Chloroquine is a zinc ionophore, it carries zinc inside the cell which assists in the process. Only a tiny bit of zinc supplementation might be recommended though, like 20 milligrams, or 1/10th of a zinc sulfate capsule per day. Too much zinc and your mouth starts to taste metallic. COOKED oysters have huge amounts of zinc.

Also, even newer published research just days ago recommends Hydroxychloroquine, apparently easier for stomach to tolerate, potentially useful immunomodulator effects.
