Ask HN: App or service to help those in Covid isolation?

Now that SF Bay is in "shelter in place" with other places soon to follow. It occurs to me that something which may be desperately needed in the near future is a web service/app which connects those in COVID-isolation with local volunteers.

The basic idea being that this service could connect healthy, young, car-owning, volunteers with the elderly or immunocompromised in their neighborhood.

Does anyone know if this service (or something close enough) already exists (or is being built)? Or perhaps there exists some government system which functions similarly that needs attention brought to it?

If not, then I'd love to volunteer my time (I'm a web developer) to build it. I'm looking for others who are willing to donate their time to brainstorm/program/design/whatever.
