Weed out the shallow bullying and suppression techniques.
I don't see why the author blames capitalism in particular. The same article could be titled how humanity fights against nature or in fact how nature fights nature. There are no animals that see the winter come are think "gee, I guess nature wants me dead. I might as well just die". Rather they fight nature by preparing food and shelter (if they are smart enough). The main difference with humans is that humans are powerful enough to basically "beat" nature. If you want to blame capitalism then you should compare it to an alternative, such as communism. The USSR sure wants good for nature (unless you consider killing millions of people good for nature (yes, there are articles like that currently)). The USSR had a meltdown that made an area, the size of some counties, uninhabitable. They mined whatever they wanted, gaining fuel by burning whatever they wanted. Nowadays China is one of the major polluters in the world. This article seems like yet another "capitalism is bad, let's find proof" type of articles.
Just out of curiosity, what is an actionable, practical alternative to Capitalism?

Communism doesn't seem to work, and most people's idea of an alternative is an utopian world grounded in wishful thinking.
