Ask HN: Build Your Own PaaS?

Of those that have gone all in on microservices and containerized deployments - How many are building their own PAAS (platform as a service)? So an internal Heroku that is built specifically for your development teams?

Are there any generalized solutions for this? Are there any PAAS builder as a service type things? Something to wrangle and constrain (put behind higher level abstractions) general cloud primitives (ec2 instances, load balancers, etc), k8s, orchestrators, cicd, etc and provide a way for devs to just deploy code via container images or straight from git repo.
