Ask HN: Do plug n' play music viz libs exist?

I would like to contribute to the open media / CC movement, but since my artistic talent is non-exist I'd like to generate visualizations from music on jamendo and share them on peertube.

A trusty server is in my possession, and python as well as javascript are my friends. Making my own visualizations didn't turn out too well since they all look very nooby. Vertex shading doesn't really interest me either.

So, a lib with a few presets that I could integrate into a script would be amazing. My google-fu is failing me and hopefully someone here can help out.
