And the test shall set them free. Wonder how quarantine discipline will be upheld though if some are allowed to go out to celebrate.

In case you worry that will lead to Germany introducing a national ID, you don't have to. Germany has had a national ID card for years and years now. Like most developed countries.

That Spiegel article also mentions that the current test they want to deploy is sensitive to antibodies against other coronaviruses. Come on HN, can we please stop upvoting these crappy, misinformed, and sensationalized press articles?

The issue with doing this is that a large group of people will want to catch the virus so they can get out of the house again.
