Just wearing shoes from outside is a COVID19 risk

Beyond those washing hands normally many all still bringing coronavirus into our homes and cars through other normal daily habits - - wearing shoes. Have you ever seen a sick person expectorate on the ground ? Where does gravity take anything that is coughed, sneezed or spit out ? We are not taking shoes off outside the front door, dipping soles in 10% bleach solution, placing them on/in UV light box, or other germicidal methods. How many are using hands to take off shoes and then failing to wash hands immediately ? Even if one was to wash hands afterwards, how many are carrying laptops, groceries, and other items that get co-mingled with dirty hands at front door ? I know some families that demand all members of family take off shoes outside and transfer to slippers inside house. I recall during the bird flu several years ago all poultry producers had trays of 1 inch disinfectant liquid in some cases with towel nearby to step on after liquid - - - at the doors of all chicken houses to dip shoes, and they were very, very serious about it.
